Job Description:

As a Ph.D. student in the R&D Solutions department at hte Aktiengesellschaft, you will work within the scope of the publically funded research project “DryRef – Energy Efficient Catalysis in Dry Reforming” on a national level with both industrial and academic partners. Together with the project team at hte you will develop a scientific concept to solve technically challenging problems, learning the planning, synthesis and characterisation of high throughput libraries. Operation of our test rigs and the evaluation of the subsequent test data and its correlation to micro-structural investigations also fall into the scope of your work. You will be directly supervised by renowned scientists within hte, and in addition to the project orientated support, a sound training in the field of technical catalysis will be provided through seminars and workshops. The university supervision to the work will be provided by the Institute of Chemical Technology and Polymer Chemistry at the University of Karlsruhe (TH).
