Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry (PhD, PostDoc) from an internationally recognized laboratory and have a passion for innovation in a global pharmaceutical company. Attributes such as determination to succeed and dedication to creating novel solutions for challenging problems are required to be central skills. You will be part of a team involved in lead generation and/or lead optimization projects iteratively designing novel molecules for innovative biological targets with the goal to discover and invent differentiated medicines for treating diseases of current unmet medical need. Initially leading a small team (1-2 technicians) you will demonstrate excellence in synthetic chemistry allowing rapid and efficient structure activity and structure property relationships knowledge generation via multi-dimensional optimization.
