New SpecInfo Collections


Wiley-VCH is pleased to announce three updates to SpecInfo. CNMR Organic Compounds Volumes 1 and 2 replace the former three CNMR Organics volumes, while HNMR Organic Compounds Volume 2 replaces the HNMR Organic Compounds Volumes 2 and 3.

13CNMR Volumes 1 and 2

The new 13CNMR Volumes 1 and 2 increased by 79% and now contain 185,537 and 147,976 13CNMR spectra and chemical structures respectively, with all the data carefully quality controlled by Prof. Robien. Most of the chemical shifts are assigned to the corresponding carbon atoms in the structure, forming the basis of spectrum prediction tools widely used to verify the result of a chemical synthesis in research laboratories.

HNMR Volume 2

The digital high-resolution 1HNMR 2006 edition was enlarged by 111% and consists now of 91,454 spectra measured by experienced spectroscopists engaged in combinatorial syntheses of physiological active organic compounds. The spectra have been measured at field strengths of 300 Mhz and higher, with most of the chemical shifts assigned to the corresponding 1H atoms in the structure. This is the basis of a 1H-NMR spectrum prediction tool.

The contents of all three databases have been extended and improved for even better search results. All three collections include, alongside the structural formula and spectrum, the following information:

  • Literature reference
  • Solvent
  • Standard
  • Measurement condition
  • Temperature
