Millipore: sterile, closed, disposable system for sampling fluids from sterile and aseptic processes
Good Sampling Practice is a critical and important step in the assessment of quality attributes of raw materials, in-process controls and final products. Imprecise or false results related to non-reliable sampling techniques can lead to expensive reprocessing of intermediate products or even batch rejection.
The patented NovaSeptum® Liquid Sampling System is ideal for general fluid and cell culture sampling from aseptic and sterile processes.
With its unique design, NovaSeptum enables operators to perform sterile sampling in critical manufacturing processes with total integrity. It eliminates the risk of cross contamination between processes, samples and operators while ensuring that the sample and the process is kept closed during the complete sampling procedure and transportation or storage of the sample. Furthermore, by eliminating the need for complex sanitization and sterilization procedures between sample collection, NovaSeptum is time-saving. NovaSeptum is the safest sampling system on the market. It is available in sizes from 50 ml up to 1000 ml and fits a complete panel of applications. A wide range of holders and connectors are also available. All components in contact with the product conform to USP Class VI regulations.
NovaSeptum AV, the last in the range, was especially designed for high value biotherapeutic products. The original design of the device enables accurate sampling volumes from 1 to 20 ml.
