Chemist or Chemical Engineer as Sales Account Manager for Olefins Producers (m/f)


  • Minimum of a master´s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry or similar
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in research and/or sales in the chemical industry, preferably in the area of polyolefins
  • Sales and technical service of catalysts for olefins and polyolefins producers for the petrochemical industry
  • Analysis and reporting of plant data, identification of potentials for optimization, troubleshooting
  • Develop strong relationships at all levels within the organization of global key accounts
  • Seek new customers and customer opportunities
  • Develop designs for new world-scale plants with major engineering companies / EPC
  • Correspond with customers in concise, professional manner
  • Prepare complete, clear and convincing technical and commercial quotes and proposals
  • Report on competitive activity, frequently update market database and prepare SAP forecasts of short and long term business potentials
  • Strategic account planning: prospecting, active cross selling, order fulfillment
  • Practicing a systematic selling process
  • Consulting with multiple resources and departments, understanding the customers´ business and continually positioning our products to deliver solutions to unmet needs
  • Track market trends; gathering intelligence concerning customers and competitors
  • Managing customer projects
