Field Automation Specialist (m/f)
- Degree or certification in engineering or life science (biology, chemistry or similar)
- Experience in field service
- Experience of lab-automation
In this position you are responsible to provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches. You tie workflow to schedule and manage all onsite installation, repair, maintenance and application development of our liquid handling and detection equipment. You diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions, and train our customers on the use and maintenance of our equipment. You produce timely and detailed service reports, and follow all company's filed procedures and protocols. Additionally you build positive relationships with customers, and comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations. Sharing information obtained from unique problems or specialised trainings with the rest of your team and within Tecan is as important as keeping records of service calls and other service documentation.
