Product Specialist - Chromatography applications (m/f)

  • Bachelors Degree in Science (Chemistry / Biology) or equivalent
  • 2 years experience in chromatography applications and / or technical sales, with a demonstrated track record of results
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks / queries
  • A detailed knowledge of Liquid Chromatography and practical experience using LC and LCMS instrumentation
  • Working knowledge of method development, column selection and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of other associated analytical techniques (Sample Prep, GC, GCMS, Spectroscopy) is highly advantageous
    Developing the sales of our Chemistry & Supplies products through consultative customer interactions and application support
  • The preparation of customer facing technical presentations, trainings and practical demonstrations to aid in the sales of the chemistries portfolio
  • Developing a strong relationship with key / targeted accounts, key opinion leaders and academics within the geography
  • Engaging collaboratively and cross-functionally within Agilent, partnering with instrument sales colleagues to assist in total solution selling and key projects / tender support
  • Working to develop channel partner technical competency
  • Work with the channel partners and customers to understand customers' needs or problems
  • Proactively identify and recommend solutions to meet customers' needs or to solve their problems in order to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution
  • Engage in collaborations with customers, direct sales manager and other business partners
  • Ensure business operations are in compliance with Agilent's uncompromising legal and ethical standards
