R&D Scientist - Liquid Chromatography (m/f)

  • Designing and developing Agilent Technologies chromatography products using broad engineering concepts and research techniques
  • Focusing on the evaluation and verification of products in development through investigation, as well as the documentation of research and design results
  • Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team covering other engineering disciplines such as mechanical engineering, driver and firmware development as well as marketing
  • Using your broad knowledge of state-of-the-art principles to prove, apply and interpret scientific laws and theories
  • Opportunity to make contributions to scientific literature and conferences such as publication of papers, application notes or presentations.
  • Possibility to participate in development of patent applications
  • Master's Degree or equivalent in physics, separation science, chemical engineering, chemistry and biochemistry or similar field. PhD level experience is a plus
  • You have experience with LC instrumentation, methods and applications
  • Theoretical insight and hands-on knowledge in areas such as UHPLC, Preparative LC, SFC, 2DLC, Bio Chromatography, LC/MS and other modern techniques for the design and development of analytical instruments, systems, workflows and applications are beneficial
