Scientist for bacterial fermentation (m/f)


  • You will be responsible for the organization and performance of fermentation processes in labscale, optimization of fermentation processes and technology transfer to our industrial fermentation department
  • You are responsible for the maintenance of the equipment
  • You will work in a interdisciplinary team with close communication to scientists in the field of strain development, analytics and downstream processing
  • You will report to your supervisor and the management
  • You have an academic degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related area
  • You have an excellent scientific background in bacterial metabolism and process development
  • Additionally, you have expertise in fermentation and development and optimization (e.g.DOE) of fermentation processes
  • You have excellent expertise in microbiology, working with bacteria and yeast
