SPECTRO ARCOS Receives Renowned Award From Analytical Industry In China

The SPECTRO ARCOS ICP-OES spectrometer from SPECTRO Analytical Instruments GmbH was distinguished as "one of the best new instruments in 2009" at this year's "Annual Conference of China Scientific Instruments" (April 9, 2010, Peking).

The analytical conference, ACCSI, took place for the fourth time in 2010. The top caliber event is an established industrial gathering for the analytical industry in China. High ranking government officials, representatives for international analytical manufacturers and policy makers from many Chinese companies and research institutions were among the about 500 participants. The participants use the conference to take stock of the previous year and to gather information about the most important trends and technologies for the coming twelve months.

This was the fourth time in a row that SPECTRO was invited to take part as an exhibitor by the organizers of ACCSI. As one of the manufacturers in the area of spectrometry, the company presented its newest products - including the SPECTRO ARCOS flagship ICP-OES - together with its General Manager China Operation, Pengfei Yuan. The instrument was positively received by the Chinese experts and was, at the end of the partner conference, honored with the renowned ACCSI-Award as one of the most innovative new instruments in 2009.
